Coaching Programmes - General Features
At The Goal Academy, our child-centred approach provides children with the opportunity to grow and develop in all areas. We seek to broaden our young players’ knowledge of the game and hope they develop and improve as footballers but above all, we hope they have fun!!!
- The Goal Academy's structured, age-specific coaching programmes cover the entire range of football skills to ensure all-round development, from ball mastery and simple passing to advanced speed, agility and quickness training (SAQ®).
- To ensure the welfare of the children at all times, we use only the safest, most advanced coaching equipment and apply a strict maximum coach-to-player ratio (1:16).
- When players register with The Goal Academy, they get free access to Soccer Zone, our online football fun centre.
- Players also receive a Goal Academy Player Pack containing football kit and their own personal goal-file.
- On completion of the programmes, the children receive comprehensive Player Profiles, Course Certificates and Goal Academy Awards.
- All Goal Academy coaches are trained in Emergency First Aid, experienced and fully qualified.
- Our coaches have undertaken F.A. Child Protection courses and are encouraged to follow The Goal Academy Coaches’ Code of Conduct at all times.
- The Goal Academy operates a thorough screening process and ensures whenever possible that all coaching staff are C.R.B. checked.
